The National Masters Tournament is almost upon us with games commencing on Sunday 19th of November. It is sure to be an action packed week and the accumulation of many weeks of training and hard work.

If the week wasn't going to be exciting enough, the Sentinel Homes Hockey World League Finals are also taking place in Auckland from the 17th to the 26th November. It is a fabulous opportunity to watch some of the best women's teams in the World, including the Vantage Black Sticks, and Hockey New Zealand have some great events and offers especially for our Masters Community.  


Masters Hockey Special Events at the Sentinel Homes Hockey World League

Hockey NZ has some exciting events especially for the Masters community to help ensure you can make the most of the 2017 National Masters Tournament. You'll get the chance to enjoy some world class hockey as our Vantage Black Sticks Women take on the best teams in the world at the Sentinel Homes Hockey World League this November.

Our special events and initiatives for the Masters Community include:
The opening night of the Sentinel Homes Hockey World League final featuring:
  • Korea vs USA @ 6pm
  • Vantage Black Sticks vs Netherlands @ 8pm
Masters VIP hosting in the Hospitality Lounge-Saturday 18th
Afternoon session featuring Pool B opening round matches featuring:
  • England vs Germany @ 12pm
  • Argentina vs China @ 2pm
Tickets cost $70 incl GST (normally $95 for this area) and includes:
  • Exclusive access for Masters to the First XI Lounge overlooking the competition turf
  • Seat in the covered stand and event programme
  • Complimentary drink on arrival, light meal and cash bar.

Following the conclusion of the Argentina vs China game, the First XI Lounge will close but you will still have access to the Village Green where there will be food and beverages for sale, as well as trade displays and activities before the evening session opens to the general public. You will need a to purchase a separate match ticket for the evening session.

Tickets for this session are $70 and includes:
  • Seat in a reserved Masters Hockey stand
  • Meal from Village Green catering included
  • 2x drinks from Village Green bar
  • Tournament programme
  • Return Bus from Auckland Hockey, Lloyd Elsmore Park

The 2017 National Masters Tournament runs from 19-25 November in Auckland.

Games will be played at three venues including Lloyd Elsmore Hockey Stadium, Auckland Grammar and Papatoetoe Sports Centre.
