Auckland Hockey brings you a Lunch Q and A with Ric Charlesworth, Warren Birmingham, Jason McCracken and Ryan Archibald!

Auckland Hockey has great pleasure in announcing that Double Olympic Gold winning coach Ric Charlesworth, Former FIH CEO Jason McCracken and Olympic hockey legends Warren Birmingham and Ryan Archibald will be joining us for casual luncheon at HNZ Offices on March 8th, from 12noon - 2pm.

Book your seat today (limited to 75 people) for this great opportunity to hear from legends of our game and ask pressing questions you may have about Hockey in the year 2019 and what the future holds.

Hear these inspiring men tell a few stories and talk about Hockey in 2019 and the future of Hockey.

Swap your usual Friday Pub lunch for this event and enjoy a casual lunch with us and a beer, wine or soft drink from our valued supporter Federal Merchants.

Get a group of hockey mates together, or just come along yourself in preparation for a great weekend of Pro League matches as well as the International Coaching Forum being put on with Rick and Warren by AKH at LEP and involving observation of the Vantage Black Sticks vs Spain Men, USA Women and Argentina Matches.

Seats selling now at $50 per person including your lunch and a drink- just email James Sutherland at AKH via

This luncheon is the first of three luncheons planned by AKH for 2019. The second luncheon is in the planning stages for April and has a female athlete focus with a special guest and hockey great from overseas as well as Anna Lawrence and Kayla Sharland. More details to follow in coming weeks.

Places are still available for interested coaches for the three day International Coaching Forum and close on 27 February. Email Warren Birmingham today to register via

AKH would like to acknowledge the support of HNZ, Federal Merchants, and Jason McCracken in bringing this event to life.
