Andy has quickly developed into one of New Zealand’s best defensive players. He made his international debut in front of his home crowd in Tauranga against Netherlands in January 2007 and has been a consistent performer ever since. Andy can play in the midfield or defence and is a constant handful for opposition teams due to his speed and skilful passing game. He is also one of the team’s expert dragflickers.
