Clarissa’s talents are valued at both ends of the turf for the Black Sticks. She is one of the defensive rocks in the back-field, and she is also the team’s designated drag flick expert at penalty corners.
Clarissa is also strong on the ball with a powerful strike and has developed a very accurate overhead pass in her more than 100 matches for her country.
A student in Hamilton, Clarissa is originally from the home of hockey – the Netherlands, where she played in the Dutch national youth side.
