A fair play hockey coach believes and helps athletes understand that sport is an activity that develops character and shapes attitudes.

Fair play is about playing hard, but playing fair, whether you are coaching, competing, officiating, or standing on the sidelines. Both you and your athletes should:

Respect the rules

Respect others in the group/team

Respect the officials and their decisions

Respect your opponents

Give everybody a fair chance to participate and be involved

Maintain self-control at all times.
