MALAYSIA AIRLINES GOLDEN SUMMER SERIES
PRE-SALE TICKET COMPETITION
Terms and Conditions:
1. Each ticket purchased through iTICKET during the promotional period (12.00am 24th December 2010 - 12.00am, 12 February 2011) will give the purchaser one entry into the prize draw. (Please note a family pass equals one entry into the draw).
2. In the event of dispute of identity of the drawn winner, the winner will be the person named as the purchaser of the ticket through iTICKET.
3. The prize consists of four (4) return economy class tickets from Auckland, New Zealand to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia valued at $9,120 courtesy of Malaysia Airlines. This will be presented to the prizewinner as a 'letter of offer' from Malaysia Airlines. The tickets are subject to Malaysia Airlines Terms and Conditions:
a. The tickets are valid for travel in Economy Class only.
b. The company’s condition of carriage as recited on its ticket applies. The tickets are not transferable to other passengers, cannot be upgraded, nor exchanged or refundable in cash.
c. The tickets are valid for travel on sector as specified in the letter of offer and not exchangeable for other routing.
d. Not applicable for open dated air tickets.
e. Voluntary stopover other that specified in your tickets will not be allowed.
f. Travel is valid on Malaysia Airlines operated services only. This excludes travels on Malaysia Airlines joint operations and code share services operated by our airline partners.
g. Airport tax, fuel / insurance surcharge, admin fee and any other relevant surcharges ie freight or excess baggage fees will be borne by the passengers.
h. All out of pocket expenses, insurance, passport fees, visas where applicable, transport to and from departure point, transfers and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winners.
i. The validity for ticket redemption is for six months from the date of the offer letter. No extension allowed.
j. Travel is subject to flight availability and flight restrictions. Travel is not permitted during peak travel periods including New Zealand School and Public Holidays.
k. The travel validity of the ticket is 30 days from date of departure.
l. A minimum of one month’s notice is required for bookings.
m. Ticket must be issued by Malaysia Airlines, Auckland
n. Enrich Frequent Flyer miles are not applicable.
o. Baggage allowance is 20kg per person.
p. Only one date change is allowed after ticketing and will be subject to a $100 fee for reissue.
q. Please ensure that your passport has a minimum validity of six months before travelling.
Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to change any Terms & Conditions from a) to q) above without any prior notice.
4. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Hockey New Zealand accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
5. Additional expenses such as accommodation, spending money, meals, beverages, insurance and all other ancillary costs are not included in the prize and are the responsibility of the winner.
6. Hockey New Zealand’s decisions on all matters regarding the competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Hockey New Zealand reserves the right to extend, change or terminate this competition at any time.
7. Employees of Hockey New Zealand and their families are not eligible to enter this competition.
8. Entries close at 12.00am Saturday 12 February 2011. Any tickets purchased after this deadline will not be eligible for the prize draw. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries and all entries are deemed to be received at the time of entry into the iTICKET booking system and not time of transmission by entrant.
9. The prize winner will be drawn at random from all valid competition entries received during the promotional period. The draw will take place at Lloyd Elsmore Hockey Stadium, Lady Marie Drive, Pakuranga, Auckland on Sunday 13 February 2011.
10. The prize winner will be announced during the break between the matches on Sunday 13 February and published on the Hockey New Zealand website on Monday 14 February. The winner will be notified either by telephone or email within 3 working days of the draw taking place. In the event that a winner is unable to be contacted, and all methods of communication are unsuccessful, the prize may be re-drawn.
11. Hockey New Zealand reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of identity prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Hockey New Zealand. Prize winner may be required to sign a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the prize.
12. The winner will be required to make all arrangements with Malaysia Airlines following the awarding of the prize.
13. By entering, entrants agree that Hockey New Zealand, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and their respective officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this promotion or from the acceptance or use/misuse of the prize awarded. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
14. Hockey New Zealand is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition. Hockey New Zealand assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
Hockey New Zealand reserves the right to change any of the Terms and Conditions listed above (excl. Malaysia Airlines specific Terms and Conditions) without any prior notice.
