BIO:
 This talented striker is still one of the youngest players in the Black Sticks squad despite having more than 70 caps for his country.

Hugo was a last-minute inclusion at the World Cup Qualifier in 2009 thanks to his heroics as top goal scorer in the National Hockey League that year. Described as a high-energy work horse, he is lethal on the reverse shot and possesses dizzying elimination skills.

Hugo is originally from Otago but is now studying law in Auckland. He enjoys wakeboarding, surfing and fishing.
