Keeping Athletes Safe

One of your most important roles as a hockey coach is to ensure that your athletes have an injury free environment in which to train and compete. There is a risk of injury in most sports, some more so than others. However with careful planning, the effective hockey coach can keep these risks to a minimum.

If you would like to learn more, ACC have developed the “ACC SportsSmart: Coaches' Kit” which provides a 10-point action plan for sports injury prevention. There is a link to this site at the end of this module.
