Men's Premier Coach for 2012
Mt Eden Hockey Club are looking for a coach to fill the role as our Premier Men’s coach for the remainder of the 2012 season.
Mt Eden is a well established club, with 2012 being our centenary year in the Auckland competition. We have a well developed Women’s side with Auckland and Black Sticks representatives having walked onto the field for our club over the past 100 years. We also have one of the larger junior clubs in the Auckland area.
Our Men’s side has been given the opportunity by AHA to establish a Prem 1 Men’s team. This will allow us to provide a pathway and to fully develop our young players on the men's side coming up through the grades that would otherwise not get the chance to play Prem 1.
The successful applicant will be an experienced coach able to coach at the Prem 1 grade, and also assist in identifying talent in the club and helping with club and player development.
This role would be dedicated to our Prem 1 Men’s team. During the season this would cover approximately 3 hours of practises/trainings during the week, and 3 hours of pre-game and match time during the week, for a full 20 week season. There is the opportunity to expand this role dependant on the candidate.
Remuneration would be discussed on application.

World Sports Travel have received an enquiry from a South African school boy Hockey team who intend to travel to New Zealand March/ April 2013.
They are a Boys hockey U18 team - they are a Top 10 SA Schools team and rated a 9/10.
They are seeking 7-9 matches in total in either the North or South Island.
Dates are +/- 27 March - +/- 7 April 2013.
