• Managing key stakeholder relationships in the Hockey community
• Administration of funding applications
• Administrative support to the CEO and Board
You need to be a strong team player, be incredibly well organized, have great communication and interpersonal skills, experience in budget management and a minimum of 10 years work experience.

Hockey Performance Manager
The largest New Zealand Hockey Association, Auckland, seeks to appoint an experienced Hockey Performance / High Performance manager, to lead the Coaching team based at Lloyd Elsmore Park in Auckland.
This is a full time two year contracted position, with “renewal rights”, based upon satisfactory performance.
The Hockey performance manager will be responsible for the development and the implementation of a “Hockey Performance plan” for Auckland Hockey, and there after ensuring that the “key strategies as developed within the plan are implemented and monitored.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
• Recent High Performance Hockey participation at a National Level.
• A thorough knowledge of High Performance Programs.
• Thorough knowledge of both Hockey Performance and High Performance planning and management
• Excellent communication and Leadership Skills.
• Excellent people and staff management skills.
• The ability to “plan strategically”.
• The ability to work in a team environment, setting standards, and leading by example.
The position will involve both “on field and administration components”, with the Hockey Performance Manger reporting directly to the Executive Manger of the AHA.
