BIO:
One of the Blacks Sticks’ most experienced campaigners with more than 270 caps, Phil flourished in the role of New Zealand captain for three years. He has played at two Olympics and has two Commonwealth Games medals - silver in 2002 and bronze in 2010.
Phil is a genuine world-class striker who is lethal in front of goal. Terrific power and accuracy mean he can score from the most unlikely spots and he has a deadly reverse strike. He is now showing his attacking versatility by filling a midfield role.
