BIO:
Ryan Archibald, regarded by many as the best New Zealander to pick up a hockey stick, was the first Black Stick to reach the milestone of 250 caps for his country.
The midfield general has spent much of hockey career playing for Dutch club side Rotterdam HC but is now settled back in New Zealand for his last years in the black strip.
