BIO:
Simon has etched his mark as one of the world’s premier strikers with his unbelievable stick skills having devastating effects on opposition defences.

After making his debut in 2005 as a 16-year-old, Simon was the youngest Black Stick to play 100 matches and is likely to become our most capped player.

After playing at the Beijing Olympics with a broken hand, Simon is looking forward to stamping his mark in London. He plays for the Rotterdam club in the Netherlands and studies part-time.

Simon’s mother Sheryl played hockey for New Zealand and his younger brother Marcus is also in the Black Sticks squad.
