FUTURE BLACK STICKS U18 NAMED NATIONAL CAMP
Hockey New Zealand is proud to announce the Future Black Sticks (FBS) Men’s and Women’s squads selected to attend the 2025 FBS Super Camp, held at King’s College, Auckland from 29 September – 3 October.
The FBS programme identifies athletes who show the skill, game sense, and character to progress through Hockey New Zealand’s high performance pathway. Following standout performances during the recent National U18 campaign, the following players have been invited to take part in this high-level development experience.
The FBS Super Camp is a live-in programme designed to introduce players to the Vantage Black Sticks way of training and playing. The week will include technical and tactical development, physical and mental performance education, and key off-field leadership and character workshops, all delivered by Hockey New Zealand’s experienced staff.
This year’s camp comes at an exciting time for the FBS space, with the launch of the Junior Hockey League (JHL) earlier this year and the upcoming U21 Junior World Cups later in 2025. The camp will challenge players to take ownership of their development and provide valuable insights into the demands of elite hockey.
