Join the Action at the FIH Hockey Nations Cup – Ball Crew Applications now open!

Hockey New Zealand is excited to launch the Nations Cup Ball Crew Programme, giving young hockey enthusiasts the chance to be part of an international tournament environment and experience world-class hockey from behind the scenes. 

The programme offers a unique opportunity to work alongside international athletes, officials and event staff while contributing to the delivery of one of the biggest hockey events hosted in New Zealand. 

Past ball crew members have gone on to represent the Vantage Black Sticks, including Olivia Shannon, Kaitlin Cotter and Joe Morrison highlighting the incredible pathway and experience this role can provide. 

We are looking for 6 individuals per game who are enthusiastic, reliable and keen to be part of the tournament atmosphere. 

What You’ll Experience 

• Behind-the-scenes access to an international hockey event 

• Opportunity to work closely with elite athletes and officials 

• Ball crew training and development sessions 

• Official tournament uniform provided
